A comedy project

100 shows.
1 year. 1 plan.

I got AI to plan how I can do 100 shows in 1 year. The joke is. the plan is all theory until I do show #1.

What's this?

This site documents a 1-year stand-up comedy project. 100 paid or free sets before turning 40 is the goal. The venues, the phase structure, the weekly cadence were all planned end-to-end by a language model. What you see here is the public record of whether the plan works: every room pitched, every set landed, every joke that survives two rooms and a Tuesday.

If you run a comedy night in Melbourne and want to give me a slot, the venues page shows where I'm heading and how to reach me. If you're here to follow along, the schedule is the full 100-set plan, four phases, ~8 months.

First 20 shows

Phase 1 is open mics. Three different rooms a week, walking distance between some of them, ~10–18 km from Chadstone for most. The goal is to stop being scared of a mic and find the spine of a 5-minute set. Sets 21–50 step into showcases; 51–78 are the MICF run; 79–100 are paid rooms, regional road-testing, and the hundredth show at whatever room ends up feeling like home.
